Bauhinia Brand Tile Dry Set Mortar is applicable for pasting the ceramic floor tiles, ceramic or glass mosaics and stones on the substrate concrete of indoor and outdoor.

3.Easy and quick application, in applying the Dry Paste Method, not only the ceramic tiles do not need to soak in water beforehand, the base need not be wet before use, not necessary to elastic line of sub-grid, after mix the product with water, stir it up until mortar occurs, then place the mortar to the base and paste the ceramic tiles directly on it.
4.The thickness of the tile dry set mortar can be as thin as 2-3mm, which is namely “Super Thin Paste Method”.
5.The Product is non-toxic, harmless, odorless and non-polluting. Main technical parameters is in accordance to JC/T547-2005 National Building Materials Industry Standard.
The construction surface must be dry, smooth, solid, have neither grease nor dust, paint, plastic and gypsum of any kind on the surface. Moderate construction temperature should range within 4℃ to 32℃, and must be above 0℃. No freezing should occur within 72 hours.
Mix the dry powder with water at the ratio of 4:1. After mixing it thoroughly, hydrate for 10 minutes and stir it again, then it can be used. If you use an electric mixer, then you are required to stir the mixture thoroughly at low speed (150RPM) in order to avoid the air to enter into the mortar. Neither water nor dry powder should be added after hydration period. The consistency of the mortar should lay still on the knife when you place it vertically. Do not keep stirring the mortar during use.
1.Scrape forcibly on the substrate with a little mortar on the substrate by using the toothless straight edge of tooth-spatula to eliminate the sundries on substrate, and have the mortar embedded into the substrate to ensure the adhesive strength.
2.Spread an appropriate amount of mortar on the substrate, scrape the mortar into tooth shape by using the tooth edge of tooth-spatula, and the moderate depth of the formed teeth should go between 2.4～4.8 MM.
3.Press the pasted decorative materials such as ceramic tiles on the mortar, and rub the convex into the groove at horizontal direction to ensure thorough adhesion.
4.Adjust the pasted decorative materials such as ceramic tiles to the proper position.
5.If the pasted ceramic tile has deep groove on the pasted face, it is required to plaster the mortar on the pasted face first, and then lay at appropriate position, and rub gently the convex into groove in horizontal direction to ensure comprehensive adhesion.
6.The pasted ceramic tiles may be adjusted within 5～10 minutes. After 10 minutes, the pasted ceramic tiles shall not be moved or adjusted. If an adjustment is required, they shall be pasted with new mortar again.
Solidification period and gap filling
According to different environmental conditions, it is required at least 12～24 hours for initial setting time. If gap filling is required before solidification completed, it should paid special care to avoid vibration or pressing the pasted face of the ceramic tile, so as to ensure comprehensive adhesion. It is recommended to carry out gap filling after 24 hours of initial setting time.
Keep in a cool dry place. 6 months guarantee period before unseal.
